Hey, thanks very much for that offer, Wineland--I may take you up on it.

Still experimenting right now...I was able to get a Winamp program set up & can now play the flac files in it...but i still need to get them converted to wav to get into itunes...also i'd like to be able to burn these files to CD...i may be able to do that in winamp w/out converting the flac, but i'm not real sure about that yet.

If i hit a total wall, i'll yell for your help...that 10/29/77 show deserves to be heard in the best-sounding form possible!!!!

I use Winamp to listen to my music via laptop. I don't use it for burning. I have an old copy of Nero that works well. There is a program to play SHN files on winamp as well, called shnamp. Get it here: http://etree.org/shnamp.html

You can use the flac software to convert the software to wav files. There is a check box under General options that you can opt to delete the input files. Make sure this is not checked. Then drag the files into the white box that says files over it. Click decode and you will have both wav and flac in the folder you had the concert in. Get the Flac software here: http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
